Phases

Project History

Phase 1

Fall 2012 – Fall 2015

Students of the fraternity and sorority community express to the University their interest to live on campus. The University responds to the expressed interest of the students by benchmarking Greek Housing communities nationally and engaging with an architect to develop a concept of Greek Housing at ASU.

Phase 2

Spring 2016 – Fall 2016

Members of the fraternity and sorority community begin to share the concept they have developed for Greek Housing at ASU with key stakeholders including general chapter members, national organizations, alumni, chapter advisors, and key partners in the city of Tempe. The University secures a builder for the project. The builder for the project shares floor plans and renderings of the facilities with the student committee. Arizona Board of Regents approves the Greek Leadership Village project. Chapters come forward to express their interest to live in the village.

Phase 3

Spring 2017

The third phase of the project will include engaging with each participating chapter that has expressed interest concerning upgrades to common areas and/or special requests regarding unique customizations.
